“STORECHECK,” S.A. de C.V., in compliance with the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties, informs its service providers and customers that it is responsible for the lawful processing of personal data. This processing complies with the provisions established by law and legal agreements made with third parties, with the consent of the data owner, ensuring relevance, accuracy, and timeliness for the purposes for which the data was collected. Storecheck safeguards the protection of personal data at its registered office located at Acceso A No. 110, Parque Industrial Jurica, Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro, Postal Code 76100. Mechanisms are available at this address for exercising Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition rights (ARCO Rights), as well as for revoking consent and/or limiting the use of personal data.

2. Methods of Data Collection

We collect personal data directly and personally through physical and/or digital mechanisms. We do not obtain personal data from publicly accessible sources or third parties.

3. Processing of Personal Data

To provide transparency on how we use your personal data, we inform you that the collected data is used to gather insights about the behavior of products marketed by our clients in the national market. This is achieved through the development or use of software created by our company departments, ensuring compliance with legal obligations contracted with clients and suppliers.

Data processing is performed both in electronic and physical formats to fulfill the purposes outlined in this section.

4. Consent

The personal data we collect and process, including access, consultation, storage, modification, and transfer, adhere to the purposes described above.
If you decide to revoke your consent or limit the use of your personal data, you must request it in writing, either through the electronic means indicated in the corresponding section of this Privacy Notice or personally at the Controller’s office.

It is important to note that consent revocation will not proceed when the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfill legal obligations, statutory exceptions (labor, commercial, tax, intellectual property, administrative, or others not covered in this document), or by order of a competent authority.

5. National or International Transfers

At “STORECHECK,” S.A. de C.V., personal data is not transferred outside of Mexico. Additionally, personal data is not used for purposes other than those indicated in this Privacy Notice.

6. Exercising Access, Rectification, Cancellation, and Opposition Rights (ARCO Rights)

To exercise your ARCO Rights, revoke your consent, and/or limit the use of your personal data, you must contact the Privacy Department located at the above-mentioned address, available Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM on business days, or electronically via email at comunicacion@storecheck.com. Your request must include a free-form letter with the following minimum details:

  • Full name and handwritten signature
  • Address for response notification
  • Copy of official identification
  • Details of personal data shared with “STORECHECK,” S.A. de C.V., as well as any additional information deemed relevant to facilitate locating your data in our databases

If your request is deemed valid, you must present official documents proving your identity in person, such as a Voter ID, Passport, or Professional License. Responses to your request will always be provided in person, either to you or your legal representative.

7. Updates

The content of this Privacy Notice is subject to modifications in response to legislative updates on personal data protection, changes in the Controller’s business focus, or operational adjustments. Updates will be communicated through the physical or electronic site where this Privacy Notice is published.

To comply with current legislation, it is a requirement to provide explicit consent for the processing and purposes indicated.

Your privacy is of vital importance to us. This privacy policy explains how personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by Storecheck. 1. Personal Information

“Personal information” refers to personally identifiable information, such as your first name, last name, phone number, and any other non-public information about you that is associated with or linked to the above data. Personal information does not include aggregated information, which consists of data we collect about Storecheck usage. Our privacy policy does not restrict or limit our collection and use of aggregated information.

2. What Personal Information Does Storecheck Collect?

  • Registration and Profile Information: When you create an account, we require your first name, last name, email address, and password. Optionally, users may complete their profile with additional information such as address, phone number, photo, etc. These optional data are NOT required for Storecheck to function properly.
  • Background Location Data: Collected via GPS, Wi-Fi networks, or cellular network triangulation to deliver contracted services.
  • Contact Information: Can be registered directly in your profile section or requested by the support team to assist you.
  • Device Information: Includes data such as IP address, device make and model, operating system version, and more. This information is collected for analysis and application error correction purposes.

3. How Does Storecheck Use Your Personal Information?

Storecheck collects personal information to provide contracted services and enable active features in your project, including:

  • Creating an account on Storecheck.
  • Validating that you are at the expected workplace location.
  • Starting, pausing, or ending a workplace visit.
  • Generating compliance indicators for work plans, accessible via the platform https://webapp.storecheck.com for active clients, restricted according to privileges granted by the contracting party.

4. Why Do We Use Background Location Data?

If the contracting party and/or project administrator activates the Geo-Fencing option, a perimeter is defined for each visit. Storecheck collects your location data to verify that you are within this perimeter, even when the app is not in use or is closed, provided your workday is ongoing. Otherwise, Storecheck will pause or cancel your visit.

We never collect your background location data if your workday is not in progress. Specifically, if you have not explicitly started a visit using the “start visit” or “start workday” button, Storecheck WILL NOT collect your location data.

Background location data may be used to notify team members if you leave the designated work perimeter.

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

Information generated by Storecheck is sent to servers contracted by Storecheck, hosted on Amazon’s cloud infrastructure. This data is stored strictly to deliver the contracted services and consumed by you, our clients, through the integrated reports on the platform.

Information is not disclosed to third parties.

6. Security

Information is protected under the highest industry standards, stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud servers in databases NOT managed by Storecheck. Security measures include logical and physical protections such as firewalls, VPNs, VPCs, data encryption at rest, and secure SSL connections, among others.

7. Access and Deletion of Your Personal Information

Your personal information associated with your profile, such as your first name, last name, and profile photo, can be deleted from our databases. Deleting the application from your phone does not remove your personal information stored in Storecheck. To request deletion, you can email soporte@storecheck.com. Please note that if you request to delete your email address, you will no longer be able to use our application, as Storecheck requires an email as the unique identifier for each account.
